Omnitech InfoSolutions Q1 Revenue up by 37% to Rs.96 Crore

 

Mumbai, July 29, 2011: Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd (BSE Code: 532882), India’s leading Business Availability and Business Continuity Solutions provider, announced its first quarter results, ended June 30, 2011.

 

The company has posted a topline of Rs 96.03 Crore on a standalone basis for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011, as against Rs 69.92 Crore for the same quarter last year registering a 37.3% growth. The net profit during the corresponding periods was up 17% at Rs 15.4 crore as against Rs 13.18 crores. The consolidated sales for Q1 were up at Rs 118.01 crore as against Rs 74.55 crore for the same period last year.

 

The standalone EBITDA for this quarter stood at Rs 32.14 Crore as against Rs 22.79 Crore for the same period last year. The consolidated EBITDA for this quarter stood at Rs 31.17 Crore as against Rs 23.82 Crore for the same period last year. The standalone EPS works out to Rs 11.05for the Q1 as against Rs 9.51 for the first quarter last year.

 

Commenting on the performance of the first quarter, Mr. Atul Hemani, Managing Director, Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd said “We are happy with the performance and expect to continue better in future as we are on the growth path.” 

 

Talking about the future organic growth plans, Mr. Hemani said, “As we are currently present in Asia, Singapore, Hong Kong and India, we are looking at expanding to three more geographies which could be definitely in Japan. We are also looking APAC region which will cover Australia apart from Thailand and Malaysia. We are currently looking at two-pronged approach where we are going to go directly there in that marketplace to deal directly with those customers which are global customers for us. We are also evaluating the partnership route where we will tie up with the local partners on a strategic alliance basis and get into that market. We are also planning to expand in the Belgium and Luxembourg markets through Netherlands.”

 

On an inorganic growth front, Mr. Hemani commented that “We are keeping our eyes and ears open for an opportunity in the domestic and Asia Pacific market and we are looking at some strategic alliances to grow further. In the International market we are looking out for targets in the Europe in managed services space to strengthen our base there.”

(eCx), India's first publicly-listed KPO and a Forbes "200 Best Under a Billion" company, today announced its results for Q1 of fiscal 2012. eClerx provides data analytics and customized process solutions to global enterprise clients from its offshore delivery centres in India.

 

Consolidated financial highlights for the quarter ended June 30, 2011

 

·         Operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 was Rs 99.6 crore vs Rs 77.1 crore in the corresponding period last year, YoY growth of 29%. In USD terms, operating revenue grew by 33% to USD 22.3 Million as compared to USD 16.8M in the same period last year. Total revenue including other income for the period was Rs 106.9 crore, YoY growth of 28%.

 

·         Operating profit for the quarter was Rs 36.7 crore, a growth of 37% YoY.

 

·         Profit after tax for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 was Rs 35.2 crore compared with Rs 29.3 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year, a growth of 20% YoY.

 

·         Basic EPS for the quarter ended June 30, 2011was Rs 12.2 as compared to Rs 10.3 in the corresponding period last year.

 

·         The total headcount as of June 30, 2011 stands at 4,015 – a growth of 29% YoY.

 

Commenting on the results, Mr. P.D. Mundhra, Executive Director said "We had satisfactory Q1. Revenue and profit grew significantly - by 28% and 20% respectively."

VODAFONE TURKEY TO ACQUIRE KOC.NET

 

 Vodafone Turkey today announced that it has agreed terms with the Koç Group to acquire  Koç.net¹ for a cash consideration of TRY30 million (£11 million²).  Koç.net provides fixed voice and data services to enterprise customers and will enable Vodafone Turkey to enter the ADSL market for the first time.

 

The transaction supports Vodafone Turkey’s strategy to expand its enterprise division, which saw growth of 36 per cent in the financial quarter ending 30 June 2011.  It follows Vodafone Turkey’s acquisition of business telecommunications provider, Borusan Telekom, early last year.

 

The transaction is subject to Turkish Competition Authority approval and is expected to complete in the fourth calendar quarter of 2011.

आज 27 जुलाई 2011 को भ्रष्ट केंद्र सरकार के विरोध में एबीवीपी द्वारा हुए देशव्यापी प्रदर्शन में 10 लाख से ज्यादा छात्रो ने भाग लिया | विद्यार्थी परिषद् के महामंत्री उमेश दत्त ने बताया की यह केवल सुरुवात है | आगे इस भ्रष्ट केंद्र सरकार को छात्रों के भारी आक्रोश का सामना करना पड़ेगा | बुरी तरह भ्रष्टाचार में लिप्त इस सरकार को अब हट जाना चाहिए | अंन्यथा एबीवीपी 9 अगस्त से भ्रष्टाचारियो सत्ता छोड़ो आन्दोलन प्रारम्भ  करेगी

एबीवीपी ने केंद्र सरकार में हुए भ्रष्टाचार के लिए प्रधानमंत्री को सीधे तौर पर जिम्मेदार बताया साथ ही श्रीमती सोनिया गाँधी एवं श्री राहुल गाँधी को भी बराबरी का जिम्मेदार बताया है | भ्रष्टाचारियो पर कार्रवाई करने की जगह प्रधानमंत्री ने हमेशा राजा से लेकर कलमाड़ी तक तथा CVC थोमस का बचाव करने हेतु  कई झूठ बोले है | दूसरी तरफ भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ बोलने वाले सभी को प्रताड़ित एवं बदनाम करने का प्रयास चलाया है | इस के लिए उन्होंने सरकारी मशीनरी एवं CBI का खुलकर दुरुपयोग किया है|

एबीवीपी इसलिए ऐसे सरकार को अविश्वसनीय मानती है तथा भ्रष्टाचार समाप्त करने एवं भ्रष्ट लोगों को दण्डित करने में इसे अक्षम समझती है | एबीवीपी ने आज राष्ट्रपति महोदया के नाम देश भर से भेजे निवेदन में यही मांग की है की इस सरकार की लगाम कसे अन्यथा 9 अगस्त से यह आन्दोलन तीव्र होगा |

देश से भ्रष्टाचार को नियंत्रित करने हेतु एबीवीपी ने 13 मुद्दों का 'समाधान का जनादेश' भी प्रचारित किया है, जिससे आम आदमी के जीवन में उसे भ्रष्टाचार से निजात मिलेगी |

आज देश सभी बड़े शहरों से लेकर छोटे जिला केन्द्रों तक सभी जगह छात्र हजारों की संख्या में रास्तों  पर आए | देश भर के लगभग सभी प्रान्तों में हुए प्रदर्शनों छात्रों की अच्छी सहभागिता रही | आज बेंगलुरु में 20000 छात्रों ने एबीवीपी के नेतृत्व में मानव श्रुंखला बनायीं जो संकल्प था भ्रष्टाचार के विरुद्ध लड़ने का | यही जज्बा असम के गुवाहाटी में एक हजार से ज्यादा छात्रों का दिखा | सिलचर में तीन हजार छात्र थे | बिहार में विभिन्न केन्द्रों पर कुल 31, 470, झारखण्ड में 23, 23, कर्नाटक में 29 जिलों में 1,48,400, राजस्थान में 52, 850 संख्या रही | पोर्ट ब्लेयर में भी छात्र सडको पर आये | दिल्ली में दो हजार छात्र नोर्थ कैम्पस में नारे लगा रहे थे ऐसे ही देश के सभी हिस्सों से भारी प्रदर्शन के समाचार मिले है |

Clocking 50.34s in the event, he will be joining his compatriot Sandeep Sejwal who earlier qualified for the 100m Breaststroke event.   Following their phenomenal performances at the World Championships, Khade and Sejwal, now continue to be part of the Top 150 list, where Viru is ranked 122 in the 50m Butterfly event while Sandeep is at 128 in the 100m Breaststroke event.     Expressing his joy at the boys' achievements and their second appearance at the Olympics by qualifying for London 2012, GoSports Foundation trustee and former Olympian Hakimudin S Habibula says, "This is a historic moment for India as for the first time Indian swimmers have qualified for consecutive Olympic events. The Olympic Invitation Time for the event was set at 1:02.92sec.   Teammate and young Indian Virdhawal Khade swam the 50m Butterfly, clocking a respectable time of 24.65sec, finishing second among the Asian swimmers and swimmers his age and younger. However, missing the semi-finals by 0.69sec. The focus of this meet for the 20 year old Khade is the 50m and 100m Freestyle where he will be gunning to make the Olympic Invitation cuts.   END
